  • Copying a pose to a new animation?

I've got several individual animations which are meant to function as a sequence; e.g. the first animation's final frame is the first frame of the second animation, the final frame of the second is the first of the third, etc. So far I've been duplicating animations and adjusting the frames/poses by hand to achieve this, but is there a simple way to copy an entire pose and paste it into another animation?

Hi Ryusui,
You can do it faster this way:

  1. deselect everything to make the whole dopesheet visible by pressing SPACE
  2. select the last frame
  3. press CTRL+SHIFT+L to key what you may have forgotten to key on last frame (optional)
  4. select the (usually) white keyframe on the first row of the dopesheet, last frame of course
  5. press CTRL+C to copy all the keyframes
  6. create a new animation
  7. paste the keyframes in the new animation with CTRL+V

Oh man, that worked like a charm! Thanks!

All hail CTRL + SHIFT + L !!

thanks.... i never thought there was an option possible like this ..... i used to take a lot of time to key frames ..... it will cut a lot of time from my animating process ....
thank you again ...
