  • Linked meshes, different sizes

I was wondering if it was possible to have linked meshes but with images of slightly different size.
For example the base mesh would be a regular arm, and the linked one would be an arm with a bracelet, so its sprite would be a bit larger.
I've tried it and it "works" but the linked image gets distorted to fit the size of the base mesh.
Is there any way to resize the image while keeping the benefits of the linked mesh?

Having at least the same proportions of the original image would be the best, afaik linked meshes weren-t supposed to work for files with different sizes&proportions though.

Makes sense. I think I'll stick to similar proportions then.
Thanks for the fast reply!

I'd like to be able to substitute a texture in a mesh and it doesn't try to fit the size of the original but keeps it 100% 😃
In the bracelet case reuno mentioned, it'd be cool to swap the texture of the meshed and weighed arm and them adapt the mesh to the new texture (in this case, just the bracelet part), thus retaining the part of the arm that worked already

With the arm and bracelet case: it would work if you started with the larger texture though, right?

It would. Actually we were discussing having a tool to readapt regions to meshes, but I don't see it very near in the feature...
