animation playback, ghosting?

Hey guys,

I was animating today and something was really annoying me. Some image kept ghosting on me, i couldn't work out why at all because while scrubbing it looked normal!

I then exported the animation and it looked fine, so it wasn't my animation skills..

It seems to be inside the playback of Spine?

Any help guys? I can't view my animations perfectly until I export them really..
I do have a good rig, and I have the playback editor frame rate, up to 300.

What do you mean, ghosting? Can you post or email the .spine file? contact@esotericsoftware.com

The Dopesheet FPS controls the distance between discrete intervals the dopesheet uses to snap keys.

Sorry for the delay.

On bone23 you have scale keys: frame 35 has 1,1 and frame 36 has -1,1. Hold shift while scrubbing the timeline to disable snapping to whole number frames and you'll see your head image flips over. To fix this, select the scale key on frame 35, open the Graph (alt+G) and click the stepped key type:

Thank you. That fixed the problem! 🙂
I didn't realise that -1,1

Could you explain the fix please? I'm not totally sure how that fixed it.

Sure. The dopesheet breaks time into discrete chunks called frames. By snapping to frames, it is easier to arrange your keys. However, during playback Spine is not limited to the dopesheet frames. Spine interpolates between keys, whether they are many frames apart or just one. Holding shift disables snapping to whole number frames, so you can scrub the timeline and see what will happen between frames. You can also drag a key while holding shift to place it between frames. Another way to see what is happening between frames is to set the playback speed to be slower in the Playback view.
