  • Transform Constraint's Local and Relative Options reset

When multi-selecting Transform Constraints, the Local and Relative Options checkmarks turn off. I am not sure if it has to do with them being in Folders, but it has been driving me crazy because it happens inconsistently.

When you multi-select transform constraints in Spine, the Local and Relative options may appear unchecked if the selected constraints have different settings for these options. This behavior is not related to the constraints being in folders but rather to the inconsistency in the settings across the selected constraints. If some constraints have Local or Relative checked and others do not, the checkbox will appear unchecked to indicate mixed states. To ensure consistent behavior, you can manually set the desired options for all selected constraints.

skarasuko As Spinebot says, if you select constraints with different settings at the same time, the check marks may or may not show up in the UI, but the settings themselves should not have changed. Or are you saying that in your case the problem is that the settings actually change? If so, what are the steps to reproduce the problem?

Misaki I really can't predict when it unchecks. I tried a quick test, and doing a combination of Shift and Ctrl selects has unchecked them sometimes.

skarasuko Hmm, I did a little test based on your clues but couldn't reproduce it, so if you can figure out how to reproduce it, I'd be grateful if you could let us know the steps.

For your information, there is a known bug where the Select option for bones is unintentionally unchecked when certain steps are taken, so I suspect that a similar issue may exist with the options for constraints:

Misaki For context, if at least either Local or Relative is unchecked, there's some kind of "transfer" of the off-toggle to the next-selected Constraints that have the unchecked property checked.

skarasuko Hmm, I tried again and still cannot reproduce the problem. I thought we might need to check if the perception is the same between you and me, so I prepared a video recording of the expected behaviour. Everything that happens in the following video is as expected:

Are any of these behaviours present that you feel are bugs? Or is it actually different behaviour than these that you experience?

This video shows that the Checkmarks from the first selected Constraints somehow "transferred" to the next selected Constraints.

skarasuko Thank you for showing the video! I was able to reproduce the problem. This certainly appears to be an issue that occurs when using folders for constraints. I will create an issue ticket to fix this issue.
