So we have some programmers that have never worked with spine before and some of the simple stuff we do is in the old docs and when we went to refer them to the docs we found that it has been replaced with new very confusing and obtuse set of documentation? I can't find simple stuff in there. While I am sure some may find these new docs great. Is there a way to refer to the old docs? Those are much more digestible for us especially when you don't know what you are looking for.
What happened to the old Unity Runtime docs
- Modificato
The old Unity Runtime documentation has been updated and replaced with new documentation. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to access the old documentation as it has been superseded by the new version. However, the current documentation is available on the spine-unity documentation page, and it includes sections on getting started and updating the spine-unity runtime, which might help your programmers get acquainted with the basics. If there are specific areas that are unclear, feedback is encouraged to improve the documentation.

DTDT Hmmm, it is true that the spine-unity documentation has been updated recently, but the content itself has changed little, simply by splitting the pages. Perhaps the old documentation you are referring to is the following page?:
https://esotericsoftware.com/spine-unity-attachments-and-attachmenttools
There is also another old page below that summarizes the Spine Events, which is a little harder to find but is still linked from within the current documentation:
https://esotericsoftware.com/spine-unity-events
These pages are easy to follow, but they explain a very limited part of the spine-unity runtime and are not comprehensive documentation. The comprehensive documentation has been updated as the runtime has been updated, but it became so long that it has now been split into the current separate pages.
@DTDT As Misaki mentioned, the pages have just been split into 8 separate pages, one benefit being that the table of contents on the side is usable.
Please describe what exactly you are looking for, or what you are missing, then we can point you to the respective documentation. Otherwise it's very vague guesswork.
