  • are there any known issues for ts-webgl-overlay beta?

Hi there,

I'm hoping to use ts-webgl-overlay's current beta version that hasn't been released yet in an upcoming product launch next month. I'm wondering if there are any known issues I should be aware of with the current version. Just wanted to keep tabs on possible bugs prior to release.

Thanks!

    Hello!

The web component is in a very early stage, and we haven't been able to battle test it yet.
We've addressed all the issues we found during its development, and currently, we have no known issues. This doesn't mean there aren't any bugs, but rather that we haven't found any other problems with the limited testing we've done.
I don't expect any particular issues at this stage, but we can only be certain once it has been used in various scenarios.

You're the first user of this new component, so you might end up reporting its first bug! 😛
I hope that won't be the case, and everything will work smoothly for your product launch!

Awesome! I'll be happy to stress test this on our side

The biggest unknown is performance on low-end mobile devices. We haven't tested that at all yet, as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty sure it will work though. My test device will be a Nexus 5 running Android 7 and a super old Chrome for Android version.

A webcomponent to display spine animations in web pages. It's still a WIP though.
