Hi!

PhotoshopToSpine, under Output (Images), I can no longer change its output path. For example, if I write "~/Desktop", It always adds my intended path on top of the projects paths. E.g.:

If I’m using a cloud document, It's destination goes to /cloud-content/~/Desktop instead.
If using an offline .psd document, it goes to somewhere /User/wherever the project is saved.../~/Desktop

At the moment I’ve reverted back to my previous version 7.15, where it works as expected.

Using latest version of script [7.31], on macOS Ventura, with latest Photoshop 24.1.1

Hmm. Very little has changed regarding this since 7.15. I see it working as expected on Windows:

I'll ask a colleague to give it a try on macOS.

It could be that Photoshop changed its behavior, since the script relies on Photoshop. We'll check that too.

If your path starts with a forward slash (/) then the script should use it as an absolute path. That may be a workaround if you want to use the latest script while we investigate.

Btw, here's a screenshot, using the same version of Photoshop and macOS, but different versions of the script. "~/Desktop" results in different paths :/

PeterBacall I have confirmed that this issue can be reproduced using PhotoshopToSpine v7.17 or later version and have created an issue ticket for fixing it:

Hi sorry to bring this up again, It's been a while and I'm still waiting to be able to update the script :/ For example Photoshops Cloud Documents will save to /cloud-content/repo:~/cloud-content/images/... and there is no way to change that on Mac

PeterBacall Sorry, there hasn't been progress on this issue yet. PhotoshopToSpine.jsx is created by Nate, but he has been busy fixing bugs of the Spine editor and preparing for the 4.2-beta release, so he has not been able to work on improving PhotoshopToSpine for a while. We will update the issue ticket on GitHub as soon as there is progress.

Can you use an absolute path? In other words, don't begin your path with ~, start the path with /. For example:

/Users/peterbalazs/Desktop

The issue seems to be, it always grabs the path of my files location, uses that as base and then puts my input string on top of that. It doesn't let me fully write my own path. See screenshot
