The Corona runtime includes this console warning:
if rotation ~= 0 and xScale ~= yScale and not image.rotationWarning then
image.rotationWarning = true
print("WARNING: Non-uniform bone scaling with attachments not rotated to\n"
.." cardinal angles will not work as expected with Corona.\n"
.." Bone: "..slot.bone.data.name..", slot: "..slot.data.name..", attachment:" ..attachment.name.."\n"
.." Rotation: "..rotation..", xScale: "..xScale..", yScale: "..yScale)
end
I added the second to last line to check my own values. Apparently this warning does apply to our project as all of our current spine characters utilize non-uniform scaling and non-cardinal angles, so this warning is spammed to the console multiple times.
What exactly does "will not work as expected" mean? What kind of errors are seen in these situations that require such a warning? Everything seems to work fine in the simulator. We are having some issues in building to devices, but I believe that is related to a separate issue as previous builds have worked even with this warning. Is this issue severe enough that we should redo our animations in order to avoid it?
Any insight into the matter is appreciated. Thanks.
