i downloaded the last version of Spine Trial for windows 10 and it is not launching , i tried somethings fixes in old forums but not success .
so , i tried to launching from command prompt like this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Spine Trial>SpineTrial.com
ERROR: Please use the Java runtime bundled with Spine.
and got this error , how to fix ?
thanks
That's odd, it is working for me from the command line. Does it work when you run SpineTrial.exe
from the command line or from File Explorer? Are you running any antivirus or similar software that might be modifying Spine's files?

Hi ,
No i cant run from explorer or command line nothing happens , my anti vírus is disable to realtime checks vírus etc... but I disable antivirus and nothing happens.
Can i set something in path or a system variable to correct Java Path ?
Spine doesn't use the system Java at all. Spine must run with its own version of Java. There's no setup, it finds it in the Spine installation folder (in /launcher/jre/
). You should only see that message if Spine's Java is damaged or modified, though usually if it is modified it should show a different error. You might try uninstalling the Spine trial, making sure all the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Spine\
are deleted, then reinstall and hopefully it runs then.

Hi ,
no way !
I did that you said , but same ...
look no antivirus !
uninstall and delete folder and download again .... sorry about the sequence , image , but i did in order....
Sorry you are still having trouble. It's very perplexing why you would be unable to run with that error message. Can you please try running Spine from the command line like this:
SpineTrial.com -v
That should print some version information which might help us determine what the problem is.

Hi ,
that command same error , but
help works !!!
Are there any prerequisites that i dont know ... ?
Look !! Image
There's no prerequisites, the installer provides everything that is needed. I'm afraid I can't figure out why you get the error message. It should only happen if some files in /launcher/jre/
are missing or modified. We've never seen the problem you are having and you are the first person to report it. I wish I had something better to tell you!
Could it be possible something is modifying Spine's files? If you right click the jre
folder at /launcher/jre/
in the SpineTrial installation folder, it should report Size on disk
as 59,428,864 bytes
.
