ghyze I want to rig a bone to follow a point another bone that is rotating, but only on a single axis. Similar to the attached image where the node only follows the tip of the bone in the X-axis. Is this doable?
Erika The image isn't very explanatory so I'll take a wild guess and imagine you want to sometimes move the bone from its origin and sometimes from the tip. To achieve this you could create an IK constraint and animate its mix to alternate between the forward and inverse kinematics. Inverse Kinematics - Spine User Guide: Keying
