Make the up and down scaling equal to the selected curve. Otherwise, this operation requires two steps. Drag the upper edge and the lower edge, which is inaccurate and cannot ensure that the center is in the original position.

Ah, gotcha. We'd say zoom for the view and scaling for modifying the curves with the selection box.

We do have plans to improve the selection box scaling origin. As a workaround for what you'd like to do, you could try the favor tool. For example:
