Hi Nate,

Would it be possible to play keyed audio events also in Preview?

Thank you, Marek.

It could, though it's a bit more complex than it may seem (playing audio requires loading audio files in the background, etc). Wouldn't it be confusing to have audio played via normal playback and also in the preview?

If we have a small audio icon toggle in both dopsheet and preview then I think it is very usefull to hear audio when mixing things in preview.

Regarding the mixing values that we loose when exporting, I really think that it is a job of an animator to give a developer ready made track and mixing values as they were intended to be and let developers overwrite them if they need to do so. Here again, everything is painfully tested by animators in Spine but we loose the information on the way to developers. I mean if you are a small studio it is likely not a big deal bit once you grow you see that it is a real bottle neck or double work for the whole team.

Yep, I agree there could be some improvements by setting up mix durations in the editor.

Ahhh.... that has been a short fight. :-) Look forward to see track info and mixing times in exports ( runtimes ).

Haha, yeah it usually seems that I'm on the defensive. I'm not really, it's just we can't accept every feature under the sun. Being the devil's advocate doesn't mean a feature is bad, it just means it needs to be defended and further convincing is needed. If a feature is a really good idea and fits in well with everything else, it should be able to survive that. :)
