I'm current in development on a 2D Physics-Heavy Side-scroller based in the world of Mistborn.
Here's a prototype I threw up a week ago, about 4 hours into development. At the time I was using all 3D models but I've done quite a bit since then, Including to using the new Unity2D project settings.
I've recently seen that Spine & Unity play together well and since that's the engine I'm using for this game, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately about 3 hours in I'm realizing I just do not have the time to do all of the Unity3D Setup, Programming, Level Design, and the Art on top of that. So.. I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone was interested in joining the project. I've yet to get too far down the path of art style so that's still up in the air if you have feedback. I do plan to release this game on iOS, PC, and other devices depending on how things go. If you're worried about me dropping this project after you've invested your time please know that I have previously released 2 games to the iOS store and windows8 marketplace as well as multiple games to the Chrome Store. So when I start a project I finish it. I typically do rev-share with the Artists I work with. I bootstrap these game-dev projects so I can't be paying anyone up-front.
